Lead Lined Solid Core Wood Doors
SRLP lead lined doors are custom built manufactured to your order, with lead thickness from 1/32 to 1/2 inch.

The lead lining consists of a lead sheet placed in the middle of the divided wood core, then fastened in place with special lead covered bolts. Santa Rosa Lead Product doors have bolt free areas at each corner and in the center of each side to allow attachment of hardware.

The door slabs can be fabricated for almost any mounting hardware as long as it will work with the critical lead core. This includes cylindrical and mortised locksets, butt hinges, pivot hinges, flush bolts, automatic door bottoms and many more.

The standard door undercut is 1/8” on each side, 1/8” at the top, and 1/2” at the bottom of the door. Double door sets will include lead lined astragals.

Plastic laminates are also available complete with edging strips

Lite kits are available for our lead lined doors as well as lead oxide glass with either a 1/16” or a 1/8” lead equivalency.

Lead Lined Sheetrock

Santa Rosa Lead Products lead-backed gypsum wallboard is furnished as 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch fire code gypsum board meeting ASTM C-36 classification, with pure lead sheeting meeting federal specification
QQ-L-201f, Grade C Chemical Lead, factory laminated to the backside of the gypsum panel.

Additional shielding accessories would include lead strip, screw penetrations lead disc covers and additional sheet lead for the shielding of cutouts or other penetration as may be in the wall for the electrical, plumbing, medical gas, instrumentation tubing, etc.
